Lenard's celebrates 36-year anniversary
Lenard’s is celebrating 36 years of family tradition and success, a testament to the company’s products and customer service. Founded by Lenard Poulter in 1987, the company has grown from a single store in Queensland to a nationwide franchise.
Also heavily involved in the business are Poulter’s daughter Kelly Beach and her husband Joel Beach. Kelly is an integral part of the management team, committed to upholding her father’s legacy.
The company operates on two fronts — franchising and manufacturing. The franchising arm continues to thrive with longstanding stores such as Willows Townsville marking its 30th year of operation and its Caringbah Sydney store currently undergoing refurbishment after 11 years of successful operation.
The manufacturing team has employees who have been with the company for nearly two decades. Matthew Turner and Natasha Wells, who both started their careers at Lenard’s stores as teenagers, have been part of the manufacturing team for 19 and 14 years respectively.
Cameron Lee, Product Manager with 15 years of service at Lenard’s under his belt, leads a product team that innovates to meet customer needs. The team has recently launched new products such as Pockets, Lenny Pops, Bulk Packs and new sausage flavours that have been made more accessible through independent retailers. They are also set to launch a new ready-to-heat (cooked) range.
In addition to these developments, Lenard’s will open a factory outlet in Capalaba. This move marks a new chapter for the company and opens up opportunities for more factory outlets across Australia.
Lenard’s attributes its success to family values and commitment to quality. The company looks forward to many more years of serving Australians.
