Cleaning and sanitising products made to meet pandemic demands

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented demand for cleaning and sanitising products. Cleaners and disinfectants are becoming increasingly difficult to source and delivery lead times are extended. These shortages pose serious challenges for facilities and their ability to maintain a safe cleaning environment. The Klarion On-Site Generation System can mitigate these risks by enabling on-site, on-demand production of highly effective cleaners and sanitisers.

The system uses electrochemical activation (ECA) technology and requires just salt, water and electricity for operation. These two solutions, a general cleaner and sanitiser can replace most of the conventional chemicals to clean and disinfect your facility with the added benefit of being non-toxic and environmentally sustainable. The solutions can be fed into CIP systems and used in pressure washers, mobile carts, buckets, handheld sprayers, spray guns and spray bottles. The convenience of scaling up to meet increased demand for cleaners and disinfectants is possible as the customer has complete control over the volume of solutions produced.

Klarion sanitiser has demonstrated efficacy against human coronavirus, poliovirus, and norovirus as well as many other pathogens. These viruses are similar to, or more resilient to disinfection, than SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that is causing the COVID-19 pandemic).

The Klarion sanitiser should be used on hard, non-porous surfaces at an FAC of 170 ppm or higher following the directions on the label. Additionally, the cleaning solutions can reliably kill 99.9999% of the most common foodborne bacteria, including listeria, E.coli, MRSA, streptococcus, and pseudomonas aeruginosa. The full efficacy table is available here.

The Klarion system gives you control to produce as much solution needed to clean almost every surface in your facility: counters, work areas, break areas, carpets, floors, bathrooms, appliances and equipment. Clean and disinfect your production lines and machinery-tanks, totes, evisceration tables, conveyor belt, slicers, cutters, skinners, grinders, mixers, injectors, fillers, dump lifters and dump bins and general table workbenches.

In addition, the Klarion cleaner and sanitiser are non-irritating to eyes and skin and fragrance free. Workers don't need to wear protection gear when cleaning so more time can be spent working instead of suiting up or being trained on safety procedures for cleaning ultimately improving worker safety conditions.

There are no upfront costs or capital expenditure required to get started with the Klarion system. Users pay monthly based on the volume of cleaner and sanitiser produced.
