Aluminium high-speed folding doors

The Efaflex AS Aluminium high-speed folding door can accommodate openings up to 6 m high and 8 m wide which are exposed to high winds.

It is primarily designed for exterior openings, offers good heat and noise insulation and is suitable for a large variety of applications. The rapid action of the door at speeds up to 2 m/s results in energy savings for users as the plant is exposed to the outside environment for less time.

An advantage over the roll door is that the door panels may be profiled around gantry cranes passing through the opening.

The doors can operate electrically or pneumatically and can be activated by various forms including pushbuttons, remote control, induction loops or motion sensors.

A closed-circuit electric contact strip prevents the door closing onto an object within the opening, and this can be further improved by motion radars if required.

The quiet and compact, low-maintenance construction ensures a long service life for this high-speed roll door which has been designed for over 150,000 cycles/year.
