tna appoints Regional Sales Manager for Middle East
Packaging solutions supplier tna is getting back in touch with its roots, appointing its first representative in Egypt. Mohamed Hussein has been appointed to the role of Regional Sales Manager, tna Middle East and will be charged with the task of strengthening and maintaining relationships with tna’s existing customers in the Middle East region.
With a strong background in process, mechanical and electrical engineering, tna anticipates Hussein will further bolster its on-the-ground market presence and capitalise on emerging business opportunities in Egypt and the surrounding region.
Co-founder of tna Nadia Taylor was born in Egypt and sees the appointment as significant. “Mohamed’s appointment is a significant milestone in the history of our business - both organisationally, and for me personally,” Taylor said. “tna’s international roots are reflected in our global outlook, as well as in our whole ethos and approach to business. This is particularly true as we continue to reach out to new and developing markets such as Egypt and the Middle East.”
“I am thrilled to be granted the task of building on tna’s previous successes in the region,” Hussein said. “As one of the most important emerging regions for food manufacturing growth, food processing, manufacturing and packaging companies in the Middle East, we face a challenge to keep up with both the regional and global competition.
“The advanced technological and operational capabilities of our machines, combined with our superior project management expertise and wider service offerings, are precisely what is required to help Middle Eastern businesses stay ahead of the game.”
