Providing regional customer solutions
With the acquisitions of well-established ingredient specialists Bronson & Jacobs (B&J), Woods & Woods (W&W) and Keith Harris (KH) in the last 15 months, adding to the previous acquisition of Fernz, Orica has established a platform on which to grow their food ingredients business in the region.
The combined businesses will operate under the B&J name within Orica Chemnet.
B&J's business is well entrenched in Asia with offices and warehouses in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. This presence, together with Orica's logistics expertise in the region and financial backing, provides a substantial regional solution to customers' procurement requirements.
Providing customers with application technology and market expertise, in addition to a comprehensive product portfolio, B&J aims to add value by 'turning scientific into solutions'.
The combined B&J business, backed by one of Australia's largest publicly listed companies, is an exciting development for the food industry in Australia, New Zealand and the Asian region.
