Pro Mach acquires Zalkin
Pro Mach has acquired André Zalkin, a leading global capping machinery manufacturer, for an undisclosed sum. Zalkin management and employees will continue to work in the company’s manufacturing facility in Montreuil L’Argillé in Normandy and office in Rueil-Malmaison, near Paris.
Prior to the acquisition, Pro Mach owned a minority stake in Zalkin, acquiring the remaining shares this week. The acquisition follows a successful 40-year relationship; Pro Mach’s Fowler Products division and Zalkin formed a partnership in 1972.
“Pro Mach and Zalkin have an impressive history of customer satisfaction and business success together,” said Mark Anderson, Pro Mach president and CEO.
“We’re proud to welcome Zalkin’s outstanding team to the Pro Mach family. We share the same commitment to delivering superior productivity, quality and value to our customers. We look forward to working together to accelerate growth and strengthen our position as a global leader in packaging solutions. I firmly believe our most rewarding accomplishments together are still to come.”
Founded in 1932, Zalkin is a leading global provider of standard and customised capping solutions, including high-speed, high-quality cappers, decappers, sorters and elevators.
