New manufacturer’s agent for Bürkert in Albury-Wodonga

Bürkert Fluid Control Systems has appointed Jeff Allen as manufacturer’s agent in the Albury-Wodonga region. Allen has 22 years’ experience in industrial engineering and sales - experience that Bürkert believes will be vital to delivering innovative solutions for its core hygienic processing, water treatment and engineering sectors.

Allen’s role will be to connect local food, dairy and manufacturing plants with the national and global resources of the Bürkert Group throughout the region encompassing the Shepparton, Cobram, Echuca, Wangaratta and Yarrawonga areas.

Strong regional growth has led to this appointment. “With nine years’ experience with the area’s major process and system engineering projects, plus direct applications experience across Australasia, Jeff Allen has first-hand knowledge of a wide range of applications of technologies,” Bürkert Managing Director Chris Hoey said in a media release.

“Technologies on which he has worked - and adapted to local needs - range from massive PLC-controlled process systems, gas and liquid handling solutions, and arduous environment systems through to high-speed, high-accuracy conveying solutions, fine dosing and chemical handling and cleanroom systems. The capacity to integrate varied processes into a complete plant system makes Jeff a valuable addition to the growing Bürkert team.”
