The HACCP Conference returns to Sydney for 2014. Hosted by Advancing Food Safety, SAI Global, the three-day event will feature workshops, educational talks and seminars, culminating with the HACCP Awards.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Steven Newton, MD of Newton Risk-Stream Management, forecasting a global food pandemic and recommending actions to prevent it.
  • Ros Harvey, Founding Director of Sense T, discussing food traceability, safety and technology, drawing on her studies through the creation of the world’s first economy-wide intelligent sensor network.
  • Gary Smith, Director of Training, Improvement Solutions & Food Safety at SAI Global USA, discussing the risks associated with allergens along the supply chain.

“The calibre of speakers on this year’s panel truly represents why this is Australia’s premier event when it comes to food safety. This is the biggest and best line-up we’ve had to date, providing industry professionals with a valuable discussion forum that also presents priceless networking opportunities,” said Tim Jacob, general manager, Assurance Australia SAI Global.

The HACCP Conference Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be held on 27 August. Nomination categories include:

  • Outstanding Individual Nominated by an agri-food industry company
