Food safety contributions to be awarded at HACCP Conference
Entries are now open for the 2013 Australian HACCP Awards. The awards will commend the outstanding contributions of individuals and businesses that have demonstrated a commitment to food safety.
The award ceremony will take place as part of the 20th Australian HACCP Conference, Australia’s premier food safety event, which is hosted by Advancing Food Safety, SAI Global, and will follow a day of insight from some of the industry’s most respected speakers.
Award categories include outstanding individual nominated by the agri-food industry, outstanding individual working as a registered food safety auditor, outstanding single-site company and outstanding multisite company.
As one of the leading discussion forums for food safety industry professionals, the annual conference will explore Australia’s role in a global marketplace, Australian technical updates and new issues for food export. The conference program addresses issues that have affected the industry, resulting from a range of events including regulatory change, international policy implementation, foodborne illness outbreaks and technology developments.
Nominations for the awards close on 7 June 2013.
The 20th Australian HACCP Conference will take place at Pier Docklands, Melbourne, on 27-29 August 2013; the awards ceremony will be held on 28 August. Nomination forms, early bird ticket rates and the full conference program are available at www.haccptown.com.au/conference.
