Chinese beverage show to move in 2016
China Brew China Beverage (CBB) organisers have announced that the show will move from Beijing to Shanghai in 2016. The event will be held at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC) from 11 to 14 October 2016.
“With this move to Shanghai, we want to make an already highly successful project even more successful. By being closer to the geographical heart of the beverages industry, we expect further synergy effects to be generated for the event,” said Dr Reinhard Pfeiffer, deputy CEO of Messe München International.
“The response we have had so far from our exhibitors and from the industry has been positive across the board,” said Richard Clemens, managing director of the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Association (Fachverband Nahrungsmittelmaschinen und Verpackungsmaschinen).
CBB 2014 is already underway, with a total of 708 exhibitors from 25 countries at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIC) in Beijing. Of the exhibitors, 248 hail from outside China. The show closes on 16 October.
CBB is organised by the Beijing Zhongqing Heli Machinery Equipment Co. Messe München International and its Chinese subsidiary MMI Shanghai have been co-organisers of CBB since 2011.
