CHEP joins Australian Logistics Council
CHEP Australia has joined forces with the Australian Logistics Council (ALC) by becoming an associate member of the peak representative body for the Australian freight transport and logistics supply-chain sector.
CHEP offers managed, returnable and re-usable packaging solutions and has operated in Australia’s growing logistics sector since 1956.
The ALC has 13 full and 30 associate members from the freight transport and logistics supply chain, service organisations and associations, and works to ensure Australia has safe, secure, reliable, sustainable and internationally competitive supply chains.
“The Australian Logistics Council is the voice of Australia’s freight transport and logistics industry and CHEP is delighted to be welcomed as a member to further the work and objectives of the council,” said Phillip Austin, President, CHEP Australia & New Zealand.
“CHEP adds a valuable new dimension to our membership profile and reinforces ALC’s whole-of-supply-chain focus,” said Michael Kilgariff, Managing Director, Australian Logistics Council. “We look forward to working with CHEP to continue to improve supply-chain efficiency in Australia.”
