Bioplastics on the table for AIP Vic technical dinner
Speakers from Cardia Bioplastics and BASF will discuss bioplastics at the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) Victoria Branch technical dinner on 7 May.
Markus Leufgens, technical manager, Cardia Bioplastics, will present a paper on global trends and novel applications for starch-based bioplastics.
Rowan Williams, business director (ANZ), BASF Australia, will focus on updates and progress made within bioplastics industries. He will present an Australasian Bioplastics Association update and explain the stance taken against oxo-biodegradable plastics in Europe.
