$5000 diamond prize for tna’s 30th birthday competition
It'’ tna’s birthday - but the company is giving out the presents. As a way of thanking its customers, suppliers and staff, the company has launched a multiplatform competition with the top prize being a $5000 diamond.
tna will announce the winner at a gala Cirque du tna event at PackExpo Chicago in October. The competition will involve a number of monthly contests, quizzes and puzzles that contribute to an entrant’s overall score. tna’s website, Twitter and Facebook page will have details of each part of the competition, including opportunities for bonus points and spot prizes.
“People expect the unexpected from tna,” said Shane De la Force, tna’s Group Marketing Manager. “We’ve been successful for 30 years because we work hard at being the best and because we do what we say we’re going to do.
“In celebrating our diamond anniversary, we want to do something that is memorable, durable and open to as many people in the packaging sector as possible. We think this competition reflects this sentiment and we’re thrilled to be launching this exciting competition.”
In 1983, tna launched the original vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) bagger, the tna robag. The company now has over 6000 systems installed across more than 120 countries in the last 30 years.
