Pneumatic trimmers

AirMax pneumatic trimmers have a specially engineered valve assembly for easy one-handed starting. This is useful for workers who engage in short-duration but frequent uses of the trimmer, as compared to the standard two-handed start option which is better suited to operators who use the trimmer for longer.

The one-handed start option is interchangeable with all AirMax handpieces and is available as part of the air hose and valve assembly.

In addition to the one-handed start, the trimmers incorporate a contoured handle shaped to reduce grip force and lessen the incidence of the tool turning or twisting.

The handles are made of a vibration absorbing material and are colour-coded by size.

Improvements to the blade and housing also make the trimmers different from their predecessors. A cartridge-style air motor provides quick and easy maintenance.

An enhanced gear mesh contributes to smoother blade operation, while captive hex-head housing screws provide easier, faster removal and reinstallation of the blade housing and blades.

Many AirMax models have a built-in steeling device that precisely steels the inside blade edge with the simple push of a button knob.

The tools come with a reduced-weight coaxial hose for better mobility. The hose attaches to the trimmer via an exclusive swivel connection that allows the trimmer to rotate independently from the air hose, greatly reducing wrist load during operation.
