Lower operating costs are obtainable with the removal of the flex shaft cable drive system to power electric meat trimmers - IBEX is now able to deliver lower operating costs to owners and eliminate cable vibration for operators of meat trimmers.

The low voltage, IBEX V2DC Electric Meat Trimming System represents the latest generation in meat and bone trimming tool technology, providing processing plants with improved performance and reliability, while reducing ongoing maintenance costs by up to 50%, providing approximately 30% more power than pneumatic trimmers.

The motor for the V2DC Trimming System is mounted in the hand piece. This ultra small yet extremely powerful motor is the heart of the drive system. Running on low voltage DC power, the V2DC eliminates both the high voltage power sources from above the operator and the traditional flex shaft drive systems required to power electric meat trimming tools.

By challenging the approach to trimmer design, IBEX offers lower operating costs compared to other trimming systems, eliminating one of the largest ongoing costs - continual cable maintenance and replacements. Eliminating the flex shaft cable also removes the cable vibrations associated with these types of cables and improves operator comfort.

The IBEX V2DC hand piece features multiple head compatibility allowing one hand piece to drive all head sizes (35, 52, 69, 90 and 128mm) - an approach embraced by processors, as now only one tool is required for an array of different sized trimmer attachments. The V2DC Meat Trimmer, in conjunction with IBEX Modular Trimmer Heads, is utilized in the removal of fat and the slicing and recovery of meat from different applications across a wide range of processing industries.
