Proseal to unveil tray sealer range at Foodpro
Proseal Australia will showcase a range of tray sealing machines for fresh products and ready meals, together with an advanced chicken marination system from parent company JBT, at its stand at the industry event Foodpro in October. This will demonstrate the Victorian-based company's ability to deliver efficient packing solutions for the meat and poultry sector.
The equipment on display will include both semi-automatic and automatic inline machines, which are suitable for the needs of any size of operation. The machines are also capable of sealing plastic-alternative materials and have the ability to handle all current types of heat sealing, including skin packing for ready meals. Importantly, these various options can be added or removed as required, offering users the flexibility to respond to changing packaging trends.
The Proseal GT1e automatic tray sealer can deliver fast packing speeds within a compact footprint, enabling it to integrate into existing lines or fit into factory areas where space is at a premium. It can seal up to 100 atmospheric and 60 vacuum gas packs per minute on a five-impression tool, with Proseal’s ProMotion technology maximising throughput using motion and intelligent buffering technology that enable trays to feed continuously into the sealer without stopping.
The company’s TTe model is a small, compact tray sealer that is designed for low-volume production and production trials. Capable of sealing up to 10 vacuum/gas packs per minute on a 2-impression tool, it is suitable for users who frequently switch between pack types, and who require a tray sealing machine with a very small footprint.
Lastly, Proseal’s GTR is a fully portable semi-automatic two station rotary table tray sealing machine with automatic film feed and tool alignment system that is designed for smaller scale enterprises and new product development. Unlike traditional manual machines where the operator must wait for each tray to be sealed, the rotary operation of the GTR means a new tray can be loaded while the previous one is being sealed, delivering higher speeds of up to 30 packs per minute.
All three machines incorporate Proseal’s E-seal technology that is designed to produce an increased seal force of 200% while achieving a 92% reduction in energy usage.
Alongside its tray sealing machines, Proseal will also be showing the JBT IMAX 600P/900P Chicken Injector for all types of chicken marination applications.
