What goes into producing plant-based beverages?
Krones is demonstrating its process technology options for the manufacturing of plant-based drinks at Anuga FoodTec. The growing popularity of plant-based beverages, which have long been common on the supermarket shelves in Asian countries, means that producers are increasingly considering how to best work towards developing them.
Krones will be demonstrating its product offerings as well as providing its experience in developing plant-based beverages alongside that of its subsidiaries Milkron and Steinecker.
The technology on display at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne will be three concepts for three different process variants. They are: a starter set-up based on learning by doing, a fast solution for new line technology and an integrated, high-end concept where a high quality is of equal importance to that of sustainability. These three concepts will be explored and solutions to foreseeable problems offered. Krones’ product range will also be available for viewing, with demonstrations of its cooling, heating, homogenising, heat-exchanging and pumping solutions that are suitable for both plant-based beverages and other applications.
Anuga FoodTec will run from 26 to 29 April in Cologne or via Anuga @Home.
