SPC launches into the ready meals food market in Tasmania
SPC has launched into the Tasmanian ready meals food market with one of Australia’s leading providers of home-style meals, The Good Meal Company, now available in the state.
The Good Meal Company has over two decades of experience supplying public hospitals and will now offer home meal delivery service to Tasmanians in need including NDIS participants and Home Care clients.
Acquired by SPC in 2020 and housed under parent company Kuisine, The Good Meal Company will provide Tasmanians with access to high-quality prepared meals from home so they can eat and live better.
The company has a range of clients including NDIS, health services, aged-care providers, Meals on Wheels and other foodservice clients.
All meals are made in Australia and the menu caters for a range of preferences and dietary needs with a wide choice of home-style, classic and world-inspired recipes made with premium-quality seasonal produce and available for purchase at The Good Meal Company.
SPC CEO Robert Giles said: “We are looking forward to introducing Tasmanians to The Good Meal Company’s convenient and nutritious meal options that are made here in Australia with high-quality produce. The launch will help us to continue to grow our health and aged-care sector offering which already has a strong base through our existing SPC ProVital brand.”
