The Polyflex 8/48 (12/48) from Oystar Hassia claims a reduction in packaging material costs by comparison with conventional packaging processes. The inline sleeve applicator shortens processing cycles, minimising personnel costs, and the high-precision multi-die-cutting tool produces less waste. Oystar Hassia’s forming, filling and sealing machine for polypropylene with an inline sleeve applicator embodies all-in-one technology: the Polyflex 8/48 forms, fills, seals, decorates, cuts and separates cups and tubs of different shapes and sizes. It differs from conventional machinery in that its operations are performed seamlessly, with no intermediate procedures, which reduces costs. The system’s optimised ergonomic design and control technology make it easy and safe to handle.
The Polyflex 8/48 forms, fills, seals, decorates, separates and cuts 9000 to 11,000 containers/h at a rate of up to 30/min. The machinery and dosing equipment can be cleaned in place (CIP), saving time. The system is suitable for universal use.
It is designed for four different container sizes and a wide variety of products, ranging from fruit yoghurt, pudding and pureed fruit through whipping cream and cottage cheese to rice pudding and semolina pudding.
The system can also fill cups and tubs with combinations of different products, layered products and toppings. A static mixer is integrated for food processing. The option of using mono foil or multilayer PP material means products can be manufactured for microwave or freezer use. The containers are sealed with Mixpap or metallised polyester.
