Fibre King Scrolls shelf-ready case packer
Fibre King Scrolls can be used in case packing for diverting, turning and separating product.
With a renewed push by the major retailers for shelf-ready packaging, FMCG producers need to ensure that machinery is future proofed against changing pack formats and resultant packing speeds. Fibre King is focused on expanding the shelf-ready capabilities of its case packing range.
There are numerous Fibre King intermittent motion case packers in operation, running shelf-ready formats at up to 25 cases/min. Fibre King is now offering shelf ready on its WAP30-WAP60 range, with a few extra bells and whistles.
Handling of non-round product and presenting its display face in the correct orientation in the tray can be a significant challenge at higher speeds. The Fibre King team has developed a solution which utilises technology from non-case packing applications. By adapting this technology and integrating it into its high-speed case packers, the company has created a reliable and robust solution to retailers’ shelf-ready requirements.
The first WAP50 using the innovative collation system was installed in June this year along with the CP50R case palletiser. It replaced a Fibre King WAP25 case packer and CP30 case palletising system.
