Astepo Srl has been acquired by Alfa Laval. Astepo manufactures equipment for thermal food processing, especially aseptic food lines and bag-in-box machinery, and the company has a widespread customer base, predominately in Europe

By adding Astepo’s wide product range of flexible bag-in-box machinery to its portfolio, Alfa Laval will broaden its offering in the Asia-Pacific.

Astepo Srl has a long experience in the preserved food industry and extensive know-how in aseptic technology and the advanced ohmic heating process. The product portfolio consists of innovative solutions within thermal food processing, such as pasteurisation, continuous cooking and sterilisation; and bag-in-box filling technology such as volumetric filling, ultra-clean filling and aseptic filling - particularly of flexible bags.
