Nuweigh Australia has released a fully stainless steel waterproof bench scale suitable for wet applications where accurate weight is essential. The JAC 949 model features an IP67 protection rating on the stainless steel load cell.
The electronic display is a large 26 mm LCD backlight type and is fitted with a rechargeable sealed lead acid battery. The standard 240 V IEC power lead eliminates the bulky power packs that have been fitted to these types of scales in the past. A memory Hi/Low/OK target feature also comes standard and an optional light bar can be fitted for easy viewing of correct weights.
The scale weighing platform is 300 x 300 mm with a 140 mm height, making it low profile and with easy-to-use production areas. The JAC 949 is NMI trade approved and can be used for legal trade applications. There is an RS232 option available for connection with external equipment.
The scale comes in many different capacities up to 30 kg on the small model to 300 kg in the larger models, accuracy from 0.5 g is achievable and all models have a dual range weighing feature for accurate weight reading.
