CeMAT Australia to return in 2025 with broader scope

A burgeoning global supply chain was the focus for Australian warehousing, intralogistics and transport industries that gathered at CeMAT Australia 2024 in Melbourne. Now, organisers are looking to add more industries to the mix for next year’s event.

The 2024 program had over 55 speakers and the exhibition had over 150 exhibitors covering 4000 m2.

Looking to the future, Mike Nissen, Commercial Director, Hannover Fairs Australia, organiser of CeMAT Australia, commented on the continued growth year-on-year with new developments for 2025.

“Starting out as a biannual event, the need to bring these industries together for important reflection, discussions and planning has seen it evolve into an annual necessity, particularly with such rapid advances in technology within the sector,” Nissen said.

“This show was the largest and most successful yet and we look forward to continuing that growth in 2025 with our recently announced partnership with Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA). The partnership will provide new opportunities for the show and ensure all the leading thinkers and innovators are in attendance.”

Next year, the event aims to introduce the ‘Processing & Packaging Pavilion – powered by APPMA’. The Pavilion will host manufacturers, distributors and importers of packing and processing machinery designed for the food, beverage, pharma, e-commerce, chemicals and other manufacturing sectors.

CeMAT Australia 2025 and Industrial Transformation Australia 2025 will be held in Sydney at The Dome, Sydney Olympic Park, 22–24 July 2025.
