Result Group expands Sustainability Corner at APPEX 2024
Result Group has announced the inclusion of additional associations in the Sustainability Corner at APPEX 2024 from 12–15 March in Melbourne. Now joining the collaborative effort to promote sustainability in packaging and reduce environmental impact are the Australian Bioplastic Association, the Australian Council of Recycling, the Australian Food and Grocery Council, the National Retail Association and the Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association.
This expansion means that nine organisations will now be readily available at the Sustainability Corner, each bringing their unique expertise and resources to support the industry’s drive towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets and 2030 Food Waste Targets, as well as the Australian Government’s mandatory packaging design standards. All nine organisations are as follows:
- AIP (Australian Institute of Packaging)
- APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation)
- End Food Waste
- GS1 Australia
- ABA (Australian Bioplastic Association)
- AFGC (Australian Food and Grocery Council)
- NRA (National Retail Association)
- AIPIA (Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association)
- Australian Council of Recycling
Attendees of APPEX 2024 are encouraged to visit the Sustainability Corner to engage with these organisations and to gain insights into sustainable packaging, recycling, bioplastics, food waste reduction and more. This is a unique opportunity to access a broad spectrum of expertise and solutions geared towards fostering a more sustainable future.
The associations will be providing insights and answering questions at the Sustainability Corner throughout the four-day APPEX event at Result Group’s stand, E030.
