Foodservice Australia trade show to showcase in Melbourne

Foodservice Australia 2015 will be showcasing the latest offerings in the food and hospitality industry from 31 May-2 June.

The three-day event, to be held at Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building, is designed for professionals working in commercial or institutional foodservice markets and suppliers of food, drink and equipment.

Exhibitors at the show will be showcasing furniture and fit-out, kitchen equipment, bakery ingredients and confectionery, as well as a wide range of beverage and food products.

Companies confirmed to exhibit include Unilever Food Solutions, Inghams, Mission Foods and Parmalat, as well as smaller regional producers and niche suppliers.

One major highlight of the event is the Restaurant & Bar Theatre, which will offer seminars and workshops discussing topics on design or how to build a hospitality business in tough times.

Exhibition Director Tim Collett said there is something for everyone in the series.

“This is an amazing opportunity to get the answers on how to improve your business,” Collett said.

“And once you’ve been inspired by the expert speakers, walk around the show and meet the exhibitors who can help you make it happen.”

Other highlights of the show will include the Unilever Food Solutions Chef of the Year competition, Gluten Free World, Cafe School and the Regional Producers Pavilion.

Entry is free to industry professionals who register online. For more information, visit www.foodserviceaustralia.com.au.
