Food safety training in NSW

SAI Global has announced upcoming food safety courses in NSW.

Principles and Applications of HACCP will be held on 15 Feb 2016 in Parramatta. Course attendees will gain a practical understanding of HACCP and learn how to develop and implement an HACCP system to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

This course meets the formal HACCP training requirements of Woolworths Quality Assurance (WQA), SQF, BRC, Coles Supplier Requirements — Food and other customer standards.

Topics to be covered include: food safety and food quality; FSANZ food safety standards; content of food safety programs; development of pre-requisite programs; food safety hazards; how to develop HACCP plans based on the international Codex Guidelines.

The Internal Food Safety Auditor course will be held in Parramatta on 18 Feb 2016. The purpose of the course is to provide attendees with the knowledge and skills required to conduct an internal food safety audit against any GFSI-approved food safety standard.
