Australia and New Zealand dominate at the WorldStar Packaging Awards
The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) has announced that in the latest round of WorldStar Packaging Awards, Australian and New Zealand companies received the second highest number of wins, behind only Japan.
This is the second consecutive year that the region has dominated the awards program, which reflects the innovative packaging designs being developed in the Southern Hemisphere.
A record-breaking 488 entries from 41 countries took part in the 2023 awards, with 45 judges from across the globe determining 228 winners.
The ANZ PIDA Award winners were internationally recognised with 19 awards across nine categories in the WorldStar awards. Caps & Closures received four awards for three separate products and Biopak received two for two separate products. Result Group and JBS were both awarded their first WorldStar awards.
