SMI Pacifica 20 series shrink wrappers are designed for volumes of up to 20 packs/min. The systems offer the reliability, smooth running, accuracy and intuitive control of earlier, larger SMI systems.
It is claimed that smaller manufacturers can afford to automate their line and deliver store-friendly, shelf-ready packs, at a lower cost than their present methods. The machines will also find a niche helping big companies manage test market volumes or boutique lines.
Wraparound carton and tray packers will also be available. Tray and shrink combinations are optional.
