RC Treatt has released a highly concentrated water phase apple fraction to be known as Apple Essence 1500X. Most water phases are added back to juice and juice-based products to lift the mature fresh squeezed notes. Traditionally, they had a 150 fold or 150=1 strength. This product offers advantages in strength and consistency.
Apple Essence 1500X has a well-rounded distinctive ripe profile. Some may consider it has a rather cidery top note with a crisp back note to deliver a balanced apple taste. The 100% natural product is wholly distilled from mixed varieties of fresh apples and no other ingredients are added.
Apple Essence 1500X offers industry more control over flavour profiles than that found in nature. Seasonal and geographical variations are minimised with the addition of this top note. The product is chill stable for up to 12 months shelf life.
Successful applications include juice and juice drinks, water ices and sorbets, carbonated beverages and dairy combinations.
