The NatureFlex range of biodegradable cellulose-based films is derived from renewable resources which are certified to meet the European norm EN 13432, American ASTM D6400 and Australian AS4736 standards for compostable packaging. NatureFlex is also registered with the US Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) to carry the official compostable logo.
These films are suitable for packaging natural and organic products, including confectionery, bakery goods, fresh produce, household products and personal care items. They offer natural and organic product manufacturers the opportunity to align their packaging message with the spirit of their product marketing, by providing them with a biodegradable, naturally-based packaging material.
The biodegradable and compostable film for fresh food applications, NatureFlex NVS, has been specifically developed to provide improved dimensional stability under chill conditions. This high-gloss film with enhanced transparency has inherent antistatic properties and is semi-permeable to moisture, providing good anti-mist properties. NatureFlex NVS also offers a good barrier to gases and aromas. In addition, the film's enhanced printability and controlled slip properties ensure easier conversion.
