Australis Engineering has introduced its Series II AirFlow Conveyor for mass conveying of PET bottles. The new design is available with a host of standard and optional features that can meet requirements in the beverage and PET bottle manufacturing industries.

The most significant development has been the infinitely adjustable guide rail system. This feature allows both guide rails on many metres of conveyor to be accurately adjusted from a single location in seconds without tools, clamps or rods.

The guide rail system can help to eliminate OH&S risks where conveyors are installed overhead or in hard to access areas of the plant. The benefits of the guide rail system can be enhanced by integrating its operation with PLC controls; it can also be retrofitted to any other type of air conveyor.

The conveyor body sections are standard in 304 stainless steel and optional (though not recommended) in powder-coated mild steel. It is modular in design and uses standard straight, curved, hinged, incline and decline sections with various material options for neck guides and guide rails.

Inspection covers are fitted as standard to allow easy maintenance and inspection access to the inside of the conveyor body for cleaning. Various fan and filter options are offered including HEPA class.
