Regulatory and public affairs manager for AWBI
The Australian Beverages Council and the Australasian Bottled Water Institute (ABWI) have announced the appointment of Lucy Pearson to the position of Regulatory & Public Affairs Manager.
Pearson comes to the Australian beverages industry after three years as Technical Officer of the British Soft Drinks Association.
Pearson holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Lancaster and a Master of Science in Nutrition from the Kings College at the University of London.
Pearson will take charge of regulatory affairs for the Beverages Council, be responsible for the management of the ABWI Model Code and the provision of technical training for both associations.
