New directors elected
The Australian Packaging Machinery Association (APMA) has elected two new directors following two retirements.
The two elected were Derek Ford, ABB Australia and Gerard Pearson, Nordson Australia.
Ford is the packaging systems manager for ABB Australia's Robotics Division located in Melbourne. He is also the Australian consumer industry segment manager for ABB's global robotics organisation. A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Ford has gained experience in manufacturing, research and development, sales and the design and integration of automation systems.
Pearson is northern region manager for Nordson Australia, located in Sydney. Pearson has tertiary qualifications in electronics coupled with 20 years' experience in sales and service in the manufacturing and production environment.
