Mars keeps Masterfoods in play
Masterfoods announced today that its brand name will remain in the marketplace despite the recent change of the operating name of the company to Mars.
"The company has absolutely no intention of phasing out the Masterfoods food brand because it's simply too valuable," said Ian Ferguson-Brown, marketing director of MasterFoods Australia and New Zealand.
"The Masterfoods brand is worth more than $130 million in annual retail sales and further significant and rapidly growing wholesale sales through Food Service."
Masterfoods is a prominent brand in herbs and spices, mustards, relishes and flavoured sauces ranges.
