ECEFast’s HACCP Auditor is a waterproof, rugged, handheld device that measures temperature and also provides real-time Food Safety Plan action control, automatic results recording and corrective action if processes are not in control. It is simply programmed on a PC using the user’s workplace terminology.
Since it is not a universal PDA device, there is little chance of unexplained loss; and with fewer control keys, staff training is simplified. Regular actions, such as cleaning, sanitising, and tidying, can be scheduled and acknowledged by the logged-in operator. Temperature measurements are requested in plain text, recorded and acknowledged. Temperature out of tolerance will trip and alarm and direct the user to the planned corrective action.
The Auditor can be connected to a PC and data uploaded, so no time is wasted with checklists and data entry.
The HACCP Auditor can be used to assure that Food Safety Plans are carried out according to schedule, with little supervision, and to minimise the time and effort required to keep complete records that are easy to access in the event of an external audit of a system.
