World food safety experts convention in Melbourne
Titled ‘Securing Global Food Safety’, the conference takes place 26-28 September 2011 at The Sebel, Albert Park, Melbourne.
Incorporating the 2nd International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) Asia Pacific Symposium on Food Safety, and the 14th Australian Food Microbiology Conference, ‘Securing Global Food Safety’ is a partnership venture between the IAFP, the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology Incorporated (AIFST), and the International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Foods (ICMSF).
Australian food scientists, public health professionals, sector regulators and key representatives from the food industry will join the line-up of speakers. A trade exhibit will provide attendees with an opportunity to see latest technologies and applications in managing food safety.
Sessions will reinforce the global impact of food safety into a global context, while microbiological hazards updates will present valuable learnings from recent case studies.
