Powder handling seminar goes to NZ
The first powder handling seminar to be held in New Zealand will be presented in Auckland on 24 May.
The seminar has been designed to meet the learning needs of the powder handling and processing industry and is being presented in 2007 throughout Australasia.
Organiser, PowderHandling said guest speakers have been selected for a combination of their industry knowledge and expertise in a specialist field. Presentations include:
- Introduction to powder handling technologies
- Bulk solids testing
- Silo and hopper design
- Discharging difficult to manage products
- Basic concepts for mixing and batching plants
- Product sampling/testing " importance and methods
- Pneumatic conveying technology
The first seminar was held in Sydney on 28 February and had a capacity attendance, said PowderHandling's Paul Nutter. Further seminars are planned for Melbourne and Perth.
