Milling conference all ready to go
The 2008 Australasian Milling Conference is excited by its positive progress and near completion for the biennial conference, to be held on April 14-16.
The Flour Millers Council of Australia (FMCA), Stock Feed Manufacturers' Council of Australia (SFMCA) and the Australian Technical Millers Association (ATMA) organise and run the conference, designed to inform and equip those involved in the industry. Such a conference will also contribute to forming and maintaining the same level of quality to businesses across Australia.
The organising committee recently released an update of the conference's positive progress, announcing that the construction of the "Grand Pavilion' at the Rosehill Gardens Conference Centre is well ahead of schedule; international and Australian speakers are confirmed; and the Darling Harbour cruise and supper is set to be a highlight.
The conference will cover areas such as food trends, fortification with folic acid, competitive manufacturing, environmental efficiency, future designs, innovation, and the newest information for the industry.
