Matcon wins big in Birmingham
Bulk handling specialist Matcon is celebrating after being awarded two PPMA Group Industry Awards at a gala dinner event held on the opening night of the Processing & Packaging Machinery Association Show in Birmingham recently.
Entries were judged by a fully independent panel of industry specialists and Matcon was short listed as a finalist in four categories. On the night, Matcon received awards for Processing and Packaging Manufacturer of the Year and Exceptional Sales or Company Growth.
The awards were in recognition of Matcon being a machinery manufacturer that has excelled in areas such as new product development, sales and customer service and, secondly, displaying exceptional growth in sales domestically and abroad.
Matcon was also highly commended for the Partnership of the Year award, recognising its close working relationship with leading metal detection equipment supplier Lock Inspection Systems.
