Linx wins PPMA award for CJ400 ink jet printer
The Linx CJ400 continuous ink jet printer was named the Most Innovative Processing or Packaging Machine at the Processing & Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) Group Industry Awards in Birmingham, UK, in September.
The Most Innovative Processing or Packaging Machine award is presented to the machinery manufacturer or company that has installed an application that has dramatically improved productivity for the customer. Judges selected the Linx CJ400 for “demonstrating that thorough investigation of every component can bring outstanding results,” and called it “outstanding”.
“Interest in this compact coder has already been strong - particularly from businesses needing flexible production lines, as well as smaller and remote FMCG and industrial users,” said Stephen Mummery, Matthews Australasia’s national sales and marketing manager. Matthews released the CJ400 in Australia in September.
“Matthews’ connections with Linx are very strong: we have held the exclusive Australian distributorship for its ink jet and thermal product range throughout Australia for the past 24 years. It’s a remarkable achievement and one that will continue to grow strongly.”
