Krones acquires German process technology company
Krones has acquired process technology company HST Maschinenbau GmbH. Located in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, HST Maschinenbau designs and manufactures homogenisers and reciprocating pumps for the food and beverage industries.
In 2012, HST Maschinenbau’s turnover reached almost €5 million. The company employs approximately 25 people.
With the acquisition, Krones plans to upgrade its future corporate capabilities in the field of process technology, designed for producing juices and milk, and to expand its global service and maintenance business in this sector.
