2009 European Bioplastics Conference in Berlin
Representatives of the bioplastics industry throughout Europe will converge on Germany in November for the 4th European Bioplastics Conference, taking place on 10 November 2009 at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Berlin.
The global market for bioplastics has expanded steadily over the last few years, with the technology finding applications in short-life products like film and packaging for agricultural products and catering. Bioplastics are also used in long-life products such as textiles, carpets, automotive applications and cases for cell phones or computers.
Previous occasions of the annual conference have seen main industry players, politicians and representatives gather at the conference to exchange impressions and experiences.
The conference offers visitors an overview on the latest technological and market developments, a chance to network with industry peers and a product exhibition.
