Areas of specific interest will include: defining sustainable packaging; life cycle analysis; the application of sustainability principles; barriers against sustainable packaging development; recovery systems for packaging; economic, social and environmental impacts of packaging; carbon trading in 2011; and practical strategies for implementation.

The conference will attract delegates from all facets of the industry, at both technologist and management levels.

The AIP is looking for a broad range of speakers from all areas of industry to ensure that the National Conference offers something for everyone.

The deadline for the abstracts is 24 September 2007. For more information, visit www.aipack.com.au.
