The Phageguard Listex, offered by FMCG Industry Solutions, is a natural anti-listeria solution designed to provide a smarter solution when sanitiser is not enough to solve persistent listeria problems.
The natural biological solution is designed to specifically target and eliminate listeria from the environment, including areas protected by biofilms.
The solution can be simply added directly into a product to minimise the risk of listeria. It works to destroy any cells present during storage and prevent product recalls.
With no impact on taste, smell or texture, the solution is suitable for ready-to-eat (RTE) foods.
The solution is approved by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) as a processing aid.
