The tribo-optimised material iglidur J350 has been added to the igus iglidur J all-round polymer plain bearing range. Maintenance- and lubricant-free plain bearings made of this material can be used up to a continuous service temperature of 180°C and, as a press-fit bushing, offer a high interference fit. Additional axial securing is only necessary in applications with an ambient temperature greater than 150°C.

The bearing also features high wear resistance and good performance in abrasive conditions. In addition, the all-round material is both tough and flexible to mould, which opens up many possibilities in both manufacturing and assembly. This means the material can be used for a piston ring, double-flanged or clip solution, or for use under adverse environmental conditions such as impact and vibration. Industry applications including food technology.
