Available from Tecpro Australia, the Breconcherry Fury 602 is a high-power, low-flow jetting tank washer, designed for use in large process vessels, storage tanks, transport containers and chemical reactors.
The compact design and low-speed piston mechanism produces high-impact, long-range jets which give effective surface coverage and high impingement. The Fury 602 has a wide cleaning radius for effective use in large tanks.
According to the company, the jet washer’s efficient piston-operated mechanism is driven by only 5% of the wash water, allowing 95% to pass directly to the nozzles. This maximises jet impingement and wash rate, reducing downtime and minimising effluent costs. The non-clogging mechanism is tolerant of solids in the wash, allowing the recirculation of wash fluids to further reduce effluent costs. The Fury 602 is self-cleaning and, with no high-speed turbines or complex gear systems, it is claimed to suffer little wear and requires minimal maintenance or servicing.
The Fury 602 offers 360° or 180° up or 180° down wash patterns. The two nozzles oscillate through 90° while the mechanism continually indexes around a central axis. Lightweight and compact, it can be used on a mobile basis or installed permanently in the tank.
It has a 1.5″ BSP connection and requires a minimum manhole/flange opening of 200 mm for unit insertion. At a pressure of 10 Bar, the Fury 602 has a cleaning radius of 13 m and wetting radius of 17 m. It is suitable for working temperatures up to 120°C.
The Fury 602 is used in the brewing, distilling, dairy, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, coatings, nuclear and transport industries.
