PepsiCo launches sparkling water beverage
PepsiCo has announced the launch of Bubly, a no-sugar sparkling water, in Australia. This is the first time the company has launched a beverage outside of its core brands in its history of operating in Australia.
It is set to be available for purchase nationally in May 2023, featuring a range of flavours including pineapple, lime, blackberry, raspberry and passionfruit, all made from natural fruit flavours with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners.
In 2018, PepsiCo partnered with industry on a commitment to reduce sugar by 20% on average by 2025 and is on track to achieve that target, with industry reducing sugar by over 16% between 2015 and 2021.
