HelloFresh growing globally

Tuesday, 13 June, 2017

Since the first quarter of 2017 more than one million customers globally have used and ordered HelloFresh, the ready-to-cook Meal Kit Boxes.

“We see passing this mark as a great endorsement from more than one million customers that trust us to create healthy, varied and simple dishes for themselves, their families and friends,” said Dominik Richter, CEO and founder of HelloFresh.

Since its launch, HelloFresh has continued to develop the concept behind its meal kits, with a focus on the constant improvement of the cooking experience. The numerous options available and combinations of the dishes make HelloFresh meals diverse.

“This success proves that we had the right idea and convinced our customers whose recommendations helped us to become one of the global market leaders in a dynamically growing segment. We’re looking forward to bringing the joy of healthy and delicious cooking to even more households in the future,” added Richter.

“In addition to reaching this household milestone, 2017 is shaping up to be an extremely exciting year for us. We are expanding into new markets and enhancing the product through customisation and significant supply chain improvements, which includes the commissioning of a new state-of-the-art distribution centre.”
