Sydney brewer undergoes rebranding
Batch Brewing Co has announced a rebrand as it nears its 10-year milestone. Despite nearly a decade of brewing for the Marrickville community and beer enthusiasts across Australia, Batch Brewing Co has never altered its logo — until now.
In November 2022, Batch Brewing Co joined forces with Wayward Brewing Co to establish the Local Drinks Collective. One of the first initiatives of this collective was the revitalisation of Batch’s branding and product range. The logo, featuring the character with a keg and a pint, underwent a makeover spearheaded by co-founder Andrew Fineran. This collaborative effort coincides with the inception of the Local Drinks Collective.
The Collective enlisted the help of Aussie illustrator and designer Clint Weaver, founder of Pocket Beagles, for the design.
As part of the transformation, Batch Brewing Co chose names for each beer in its core range: “Pash the Magic Dragon” and “Elsie the Milk Stout” have received refreshed visuals fit for their names, while the “American Pale Ale” and “West Coast IPA” have been reimagined.
The newly rebranded range is rolling out to market and will be available across NSW, ACT, Vic and Qld. It will officially launch 23–24 September at the brewer's taproom in Marrickville, Sydney.
