Pillar Technologies comes to Australia
Pillar Technologies, manufacturer of induction sealing systems, has launched in Australia and New Zealand, stating it now has a complete global and service team.
Since 1966, the company has offered the packaging industry its induction sealers to provide tamper evidence and leak protection while extending the shelf life of products. For the food and beverage industry, induction sealing can help cut costs caused by potential recalls and ensures a high level of safety.
“We’re excited for the opportunity to service the needs of SMEs in Australia and NZ,” the company stated.
Induction sealing systems are less than half the size of water-cooled systems because they eliminate filters, hoses, pumps, radiators, flow switches, water and mess. They also have less chance of part failure and low maintenance.
The company offers a range of induction sealing machines and parts, listed below.
iFoiler Induction Sealer
Designed with modularity in mind, this machine features a responsive touch-screen interface, sealing efficiency, multiple languages and an optional seal calibration system which ensures seal integrity.
Every iFoiler comes with plug-and-play features including: bottle and cap detection; reject device and verification; in-feed bottle stop gate; missing foil detection; and remote input control and estop.
Pillar Infinity Channel Coil
This sealing head can be fitted without tools, making it easy to incorporate and allowing the one machine to complete 80% of all induction cap sealing applications and 100% of tunnel coil applications, the company claims.
Hand Held Cap Sealer
Utilising a water-less, lightweight and portable design, the handheld sealers offer users convenience. Suitable for small businesses, these machines seal virtually all cap styles.
